>Stella McCartney best described Kate's style in the
pages of Vogue as "Hippie chick-meets-rock chick kind of
thing. But she also has elements of class that layer on
top of all that she does, elements which obviously come
from her upbringing and from her own self. So basically
she's just a cool chick."

Apart from being a talented Oscar nominated actress.
Many would say that Kate Hudson is well known for three
things: being the daughter of legendary film actress
Goldie Hawn, her bubbly personality, and her incredibly
effortless hippie-chic sense of style. Hudson is capable
of pulling off a number of looks when it comes to red
carpet fashion, and her own personal day-to-day style.
Kate's style is so daring, that she landed on
Blackwell's worst-dressed list for her Stella McCartney
for Chloe dress worn during the 2001 Academy Awards.
Kate still stands to this day as saying that the dress
"was just gorgeous".
"I was laughing so hard the next day because, you know,
that dress felt so good. I was so happy in that dress
and had such a great night. And maybe four seasons
later, everybody has this little sort of capelet"
-Harper's Bazaar Sept 07
When it comes to red carpet fashion Kate Hudson and her
style team have mastered the art of crafting the perfect
look for Miss. Hudson. Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Dolce &
Gabbana and Versace are just a few of the top designer
ensembles Kate Hudson has worn. Some of her choices have
been quite revealing. From her belly baring Chanel
number at the 60th Venice Film Festival to wearing a
chest revealing Dian von Furstenberg wrap dress to the
world premiere of her film You, Me and Dupree.
Kate Hudson always seems to polish off her look with the
perfect accessories. Ranging from bold colours to
vintage, the accessories are never too matching. Take
for example the bright red snakeskin clutch Kate was
pictured with at Movies Rock in 2007. Kate Hudson seems
to have an affinity for rings and bracelets. Both are
usually big in size but never too distracting or over
done. Many may have noticed that Kate tends to wear her
bracelets higher up on her arm rather than dangling
around her wrists.
Don't count on Kate being a star that hops on the latest
fashion trend, in fact it would appear that she resists
the fashion fads and trends. Kate knows what works on
her body and that's one of the most important things
when it comes to developing your own personal sense of
style. Yes something may be nice but that doesn't mean
it will work out well on you.
"Much as I like the way they look on women with long
legs, my body does not look appropriate in tapered
jeans. I have a long torso."
